Market Manager, CJ Young, recently paid for his top leaders to attend a Southeast Regional Leadership Conference where he had been invited to speak along with fellow Market Manager and mentee, David Richardson, on June 3, 2015. Leaders had the opportunity to network with other marketing professionals from across the south who have been setting the pace in market innovation and customer acquisition.

Young spoke on the importance of training and motivating new employees to make them successful as marketing professionals and future leaders. He spoke eloquently on the steps to success, stating that his top employees maintain a positive attitude, student mentality, and persistent work ethic in the face of adversity. He gave the audience some solid advice to new trainers, stating, "Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Never make excuses, and always ask what you could do better to develop and train a person." Young was passionate about building his organization at Phoenix Integrated Store Consultants. When asked the secret to building strong, successful marketing teams, Young exclaimed, "You develop people through time and conversation."

His methods have proven successful through the recent rise of two personal trainees, Mikell Oliver and Devin Jordan, who are making names for themselves at Phoenix Integrated Store Consultants through their persistence to achieve goals and make an impact. Oliver confided, "My experience throughout the program elevated my personality as well as my drive to strive to be the best!
