Leading Analyst Report Scores Longview Solutions #1 for Overall Customer Satisfaction, Value for Money, Support Responsiveness and After-Sales Care Based on User Survey

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 4, 2012) - Longview Solutions, a leading provider of corporate performance management (CPM) and tax reporting software, announced today that it has received the #1 score* for overall customer satisfaction and vendor experience (overall value for money, on-going support and after-sales care, responsiveness of telephone support) among CPM vendors in a recent report published by Gartner entitled "User Survey Analysis: Customers Rate Their Corporate Performance Management Vendors[1]".

Based on end user responses collected as part of the annual Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPM Suites, the report evaluated vendors across key areas of customer satisfaction: including Vendor Experience, Product Experience, Implementation Experience and Total Cost of Ownership.

Megavendors still not the best option

The vendors that participated in the Survey can be categorized into four key groups: mega-vendors; pure-play vendors; Software-as-a-Service (SaaS); and mid-sized customer vendors. The report recommends, when referencing the Magic Quadrant for CPM Suites, "don't automatically assume that buying a CPM solution from a megavendor is the best or only choice. Also evaluate pure-play suppliers, and pick the vendor that best suits the organization's needs for functionality, business benefits and total cost of ownership (TCO)".
