Leading Lawn Care Supplier Selects Omniture Products to Optimize Online Marketing Initiatives

ScottsMiracle-Gro Uses Omniture to Enhance User Experiences

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - March 3, 2009) - Omniture, a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that ScottsMiracle-Gro is using multiple Omniture products to measure and optimize online marketing campaigns on its professional services site,, its consumer information destination site,, and other Scotts-owned sites. Using Omniture SiteCatalyst and an accredited Omniture Genesis integration with ExactTarget, ScottsMiracle-Gro, the world's largest marketer of branded consumer products for lawn and garden care, is better able to measure the success of email marketing campaigns and automate remarketing efforts. The Company's Scotts LawnService division is also using Omniture SearchCenter to optimize paid search campaigns and manage search engine marketing spend.

Scotts LawnService is currently using SearchCenter, a component of the Omniture Online Marketing Suite, to measure the success of paid search campaigns. Over time this will enable the division to plan holistically and improve their return on investment across online marketing channels.

ScottsMiracle-Gro is using Omniture SiteCatalyst and ExactTarget together through Omniture Genesis, a marketing platform that integrates complementary third-party marketing applications with Omniture products, giving customers a single view into their marketing data. The company wanted to provide pertinent information to email subscribers and to enable relevant remarketing to customers via follow up communications.
