PALO ALTO, CA and SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 3, 2015) - Hopkins & Carley, a law firm serving Silicon Valley businesses and individuals, announces the addition of Lisa Stalteri and Jennifer Johnson as shareholders. Both will reside in the firm's growing Palo Alto office.

"The addition of Lisa and Jennifer is a real coup. They have teamed together to build a terrific practice, representing Fortune 100 and private companies and high-net-worth individuals in a variety of commercial real estate matters. Their experience spans the gamut of sophisticated real estate transactions, including complex acquisitions, dispositions, construction, financing and international leasing," said Hopkins & Carley's Managing Shareholder Jeffrey Essner.

Garth Pickett, Co-Chair of Hopkins & Carley's Real Estate Department said, "We are very excited about bringing Lisa and Jennifer on board. They are highly respected by their peers and industry professionals, and they bring some unique expertise to our client offerings: Lisa has extensive experience with sustainable development and environmental issues, and Jennifer is one of a handful of lawyers with deep international leasing expertise for blue chip clients."

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, Stalteri advises public and private companies and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of complex real estate transactions. She has developed an extensive network of key professionals and service providers in the real estate industry, which allows her to work closely with clients to assemble an integrated, business-oriented team for significant commercial transactions.

"Hopkins & Carley's Real Estate Group has been involved in a large number of the area's high-profile projects; they understand the unique characteristics of Silicon Valley businesses, and the importance of providing sophisticated, practical and value-based counsel. In addition, I'm delighted that Hopkins & Carley has construction, litigation and land use expertise, which will be added benefits to offer clients," said Stalteri.

Previously, Stalteri served as co-president of Carr McClellan, as well as co-chair of the firm's real estate practice group. Stalteri is LEED® Green Associate accredited and has served as the co-chair of the membership committee of the U.S. Green Building Council, Silicon Valley Chapter. She also was chair of the San Mateo County Bar Association's real estate section. Johnson's real estate practice includes commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, financings and leasing (representing both landlords and tenants), representing Fortune 100 and 500 companies, investment funds, established non-profit corporations, developers, local businesses, entrepreneurs and investors. Her leasing practice, uniquely, has no geographic boundaries, as she has assisted clients in expanding their presence locally, nationally and around the world, including in Australia, Canada, England, Poland, South Africa and Turkey.
