HOOVER, AL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2007 --The Walking Company, the leading retailer of
comfort footwear in the U.S., today announced it will open a new location
in Hoover, Ala. on May 4.
The new 1,200 square-foot location will feature the latest styles and
designs from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO,
Mephisto and Dansko. The Walking Company also offers a wide selection of
comfort footwear from hard-to-find quality brands from around the world
such as Pikolinos and Beautifeel. The store will offer a comprehensive
selection for every walk of life, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs,
boots and active.
The new store will be located at the Riverchase Galleria, one of Alabama's
most popular tourist attractions and most unique shopping experiences. The
Riverchase Galleria is beneath a nine-story glass atrium featuring the
world's largest skylight, and has more than 200 shops, luxurious lodging
and fine dining. Mall hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.;
Friday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
