Leading Sparkling Wine Importer, Mionetto USA, Enters the French Sparkling Wine Category With Champagne Alfred Gratien and Gratien & Meyer

WHITE PLAINS, NY--(Marketwired - February 03, 2015) - Mionetto USA, importer of sparkling and fine wines, expands its portfolio to include French sparkling wines. Effective April 1, 2015, Mionetto USA will be the sole U.S. importer of Champagne House Alfred Gratien and Gratien & Meyer Crémant and will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the United States.

"Champagne Alfred Gratien is an exclusive boutique Champagne house and Gratien & Meyer is an elegant Crémant de la Loire house of excellence. These additions are perfect enhancements and complements to our portfolio, reinforcing our image as a leading premium sparkling and fine wine importer," says Enore Ceola, Managing Director of Mionetto USA.

Champagne Alfred Gratien has produced champagne since 1864 based on a commitment to quality. This commitment is reflected in the selection of premium fruit, the vinification process and limited production. They are among the few champagne houses to do both fermentations exclusively in small oak casks. The cuvées of Champagne Alfred Gratien only use juice from the first pressing.

Nestled on the hillside of Saumur, with cellars converted from a series of ancient tuffeau tunnels, Gratien & Meyer proudly celebrates 150 years of tradition and excellence. This excellence of Crémant sparkling wines is a sum of the land, fruit and winemaking process.
