Leading Tech Repair Brand uBreakiFix Partners With IWK Foundation to Help Fund Care of Maritime Women and Children

Halifax-Area uBreakiFix Stores Donate Sales Percentage in Ongoing Giveback Initiative


HALIFAX, NS--(Marketwired - May 29, 2017) - Beginning June 3, uBreakiFix tech repair stores in Bedford and Dartmouth will donate 10 percent of Saturday sales year round to the IWK Foundation. The partnership will extend to future Maritime locations as uBreakiFix continues to grow throughout the region.

The start date for the uBreakiFix giveback initiative coincides with the 33rd annual IWK Telethon, which airs Saturday, June 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, June 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on CTV Atlantic. Mailman is excited work the phones at the Telethon from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

In August 2016, Orlando-based tech repair enterprise uBreakiFix announced an expansion deal with investment group UBIFNorth to more than double its Canadian footprint with 22 stores in 24 months. uBreakiFix Dartmouth and uBreakiFix Bedford are the first of five Maritime locations included within the deal. Over the next year, UBIFNorth plans to roll out locations in Moncton, Charlottetown and St. John's, all of which will participate in the standing IWK Foundation partnership.
