LeadJen, LLC Recognized by EPA as Leading Green Power Purchaser

Purchase Supports New Development of Clean Renewable Resources

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - Jun 26, 2012) - LeadJen (www.leadjen.com), a B2B lead generation company that helps sales and marketing executives get value out of every prospecting interaction, announced today its purchase of green power credits and its partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Green Power Partnership. LeadJen is purchasing more than 120,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power annually, equivalent to 150 percent of the organization's electricity use. LeadJen is buying renewable energy certificates (RECs) from Renewable Choice Energy. This demonstrates a proactive choice to switch away from traditional sources of electricity generation and support cleaner renewable energy alternatives.

LeadJen is one of only 10 companies in Indiana taking part in the Green Power Partnership. Other Hoosier firms involved with the Partnership include the Indianapolis Zoo and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

"We are proud to be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for our efforts in promoting sustainable energy," said Jenny Vance, president of LeadJen. "Purchasing green power helps our organization become more sustainable, while also sending a message to others across the United States that supporting clean sources of electricity is a sound business decision and an important choice in reducing climate risk."

Green power is electricity generated from environmentally preferable renewable resources, such as wind, solar, geothermal, biogas, biomass, and low-impact hydro. Purchases of green power help accelerate the development of new renewable energy capacity nationwide and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the power sector.

"The EPA is excited to welcome LeadJen as a Green Power Partner and applauds the company's purchase of green power and its support of the voluntary renewable energy market," said Blaine Collison, director of EPA's Green Power Partnership. "LeadJen is helping to reduce harmful air pollution and climate risk, and we encourage other organizations to follow their lead."

According to the U.S. EPA, LeadJen's green power purchase of more than 120,000 kWh is equivalent to avoiding the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of nearly 20 passenger vehicles per year, or the CO2 emissions from the electricity use of more than 10 average American homes annually.

LeadJen worked with Virdao, Inc. to acquire the renewable energy credits and to establish an environmental sustainability program. "We are honored to continue our long-standing relationship with LeadJen, and to facilitate this renewable energy partnership with the EPA," said Eric Taylor, principal of Virdao.
