League Assets, which has a solid history of giving back to the community, is proud to undertake this first-time event, explains League co-Founder Adam Gant. "We believe the event offers a unique and worthwhile contribution to our local business community -- connecting world-class entrepreneurs with entrepreneurial students at Royal Roads is a true win-win. Our goal is simple: to engage with great leaders, great companies and great students for mutual opportunities and benefits."

"These promising business students are the future of our country," said Lindal, former Global Vice President for the Entrepreneurs Organization. "If we can provide these youth with some motivation to help them continue to drive and develop their start-up companies or start new companies, we will be overjoyed. 80% of all new job creation is by companies less than five years old -- supporting entrepreneurship is good for our community."

"Connecting our entrepreneurship students with successful business leaders for this, the inaugural Summit of Leaders, is a tremendous opportunity for them to live their learning," said Dr. Geoff Archer, Associate Professor and Director of the Eric C. Douglass Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies at Royal Roads University. "This is what makes the educational experience at Royal Roads relevant and practical."

Media opportunities are available for this event. For questions about scheduling interviews or covering the event, please contact Michael Cnudde at 250-595-9322 or by email at media@league.ca. Members of the press are asked to RSVP to attend the event.
