LearnLaunch Opens Up Applications for Second Breakthrough Accelerator Program

Program Invests up to $120k in Pre-Series A and International Education Technology Startups

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Aug 16, 2016) - LearnLaunch Accelerator, a startup program at the forefront of education technology, announced today that it is now accepting applications for its second Breakthrough Program designed for companies that have achieved market entry and revenue, but need help creating and implementing scaling and funding strategies to support rapid growth.

The Breakthrough Program is designed to help Pre-Series A and International education technology companies by providing investment, guidance and access to strategic partners and financing entities.

After a highly selective process, up to six edtech startups will be chosen to participate in Breakthrough's blended remote and on-site program. Each startup can receive up to $120k in investment and will have access to over 120 LearnLaunch mentors as well as the investment community. Structured to provide guidance specific to the needs of participating companies, Breakthrough is designed to accomplish its goals in a condensed and intensive timeframe compared to LearnLaunch's traditional Boost accelerator program.

"The program gives our companies a perfect opportunity to get catapulted into the Boston edtech scene and establish long lasting relationships with investors and partners," said Jean Hammond, LearnLaunch Partner. "After the program ends, we will help the companies leverage those relationships and achieve success in the years to come."

"Our program provides startups with a very personalized experience focused on creating company partnerships, investment planning and targeted mentorship," said Asad Butt, LearnLaunch Accelerator Partner. "We are looking for companies and entrepreneurs that are ready to hit the ground running on day one."

The Breakthrough program will start in November 2016 and continue through the beginning of February 2017. LearnLaunch Accelerator is inviting companies with unique, disruptive, scalable businesses with a high potential for growth, a large impact on education, and an experienced founding team. The application deadline is September 15, 2016. To learn more or to apply, please visit www.learnlaunch.com/x.
