Ledcor Group Promotes Tom Lassu and Ron Stevenson

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - April 21, 2016) - Canadian construction leader, the Ledcor Group of Companies, realigned its senior executive team today, promoting Tom Lassu to President, Ledcor Industries Inc., and Ron Stevenson to President, Ledcor Group of Companies.

In his new position as President, Ledcor Industries Inc., Tom Lassu will lead the business divisions and teams responsible for the company's multi-billion dollar portfolio of civil & infrastructure, oil & gas, pipeline, building, mining, power, and telecommunications construction projects across Canada and the US.

Previously, Tom Lassu had been President of Ledcor Constructors and, earlier, President of Ledcor Contractors. Throughout his career with Ledcor, Tom has worked in a variety of capacities, including Project Engineer, Operations Manager, Vice President, and Senior Vice President. 

A 35 year Ledcor employee, Tom is a designated professional engineer and is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

As President, Ledcor Group of Companies, Ron Stevenson will work closely with the Chairman and CEO, Dave Lede, in supervising all aspects of the company's diverse and growing businesses across North America.

Ron Stevenson has been with Ledcor for 46 years, and started working in the field. He steadily progressed through a variety of management positions, such as Foreman, Superintendent, Vice President, and President. 

Most recently, Ron was the President and CEO, Ledcor Industries Inc., the largest subsidiary of the Ledcor Group of Companies. Ron is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
