Lee Wojnar, O Bee Credit Union's VP of Marketing, Named "Advocate of the Year" for 2011 by Northwest Credit Union Association


TUMWATER, WA--(Marketwire - Sep 22, 2011) - O Bee Credit Union received major industry recognition when the Northwest Credit Union Association selected Lee Wojnar, O Bee's Vice President of Marketing, as its 2011 Credit Union Advocate of the Year. The award was presented by Bill Cheney, President and CEO of the Credit Union National Association, during the Northwest Credit Union Association's annual convention September 20-22 at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA.

The Association notes that its Advocacy Awards recognize credit union grassroots participation in legislative and regulatory activities. It sees credit union participation in the legislative and political process as essential for long-term survival of the credit union movement.
