Leesburg Public Library Hosts Free Wine Tasting and Hors d'Oeuvres Event on March 18th


THOROFARE, NJ--(Marketwire - March 7, 2008) - The Leesburg Public Library is hosting an elegant after-hours event of wine tasting and fine dining hors d'oeuvres that is free to adults in the Leesburg community on Tuesday, March 18th.

The event will take place at the library, located at 100 East Main Street in Leesburg, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. It is free to attend, but space is limited and RSVPs are highly recommended. To register for the event, email Danielle.Francis@checkpt.com or call (800) 257-5540 x2148.

The program for the evening will consist of tasting of fantastic new wines, watching of on-site food preparation, sampling of butler-served hors d'oeuvres including grilled bacon-wrapped jalapeno jumbo shrimp and sirloin beef strips, and an informational session about wine tasting from a local expert.

The Leesburg Public Library event will be sponsored by Two Old Hags Wine Shoppe, Vic's Embers Supper Club, Nelson's Tents and Events, and Miss Daisy's Flowers & Gifts. It is brought to the community by "Youniquely 4 U" (Y4U), a new service from Thorofare, N.J.-based Checkpoint Patron Services that helps libraries offer highly relevant programs and information to patrons based on their unique interests and needs.
