@Legal Discovery Adds Technology-Assisted Review and Collaboration Features to @Legal CasePoint

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jul 16, 2013) - @Legal Discovery, LLC, an innovator in end-to-end eDiscovery technology, announces the latest release of @Legal CasePoint, its platform used by legal professionals to manage data for litigation and regulatory matters. The new version includes technology-assisted review (TAR), Shared Space document collaboration for co-counsel and support for loading and viewing deposition transcripts.

CasePoint's TAR automates portions of document review by combining machine-learning technology and sophisticated workflow processes. CasePoint's built-in TAR workflow guides attorneys through the process of identifying a statistically valid subset of documents for review. Once attorneys review this subset, CasePoint's TAR machine-learning algorithm automatically classifies all remaining documents using the attorneys' manual review as a guide. The CasePoint TAR process dramatically increases the speed and accuracy of review, thereby producing better results at a lower cost to the client.

The new Shared Space feature of CasePoint is a collaboration tool that allows co-counsel to upload and share documents within the platform. The highly secure feature keeps all documents in one place and eliminates the need to set up an FTP or SharePoint site.

With the new transcript feature, users can load and view deposition transcripts in CasePoint. Legal teams in disparate locations can then review and annotate transcripts via the web-based application.

"All of these new features resulted from client requests and are immediately available as a part of CasePoint," says Haresh Bhungalia, CEO of @Legal Discovery, LLC. "Our platform is developed entirely in-house, so we can quickly develop and deploy new features to help clients manage their eDiscovery processes more efficiently."

@Legal offers CasePoint on a fixed, per-GB pricing model that includes all the features of the end-to-end platform, such as culling, filtering, processing, hosting, review and production. The new features are included in the all-inclusive price.
