Legal Technology Experts Join Interact 2008 to Discuss Agile Technology Strategies for New and Evolving Business Processes

Panelists Will Provide Practical Solutions to Reduce Legal Technology Spend by Leveraging Existing Systems for New Challenges

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 2, 2008) - Mitratech, a leading provider of software solutions for organizations to manage legal, compliance, and security risks, today announced that a panel of legal technology experts will lead the session titled, "Avoiding the Technology RFP," at Mitratech's Interact 2008: The Legal and Compliance Technology Forum.

David Cambria, Director of Operations, Aon Corporation; Reyner Meikle, Attorney, Litigation & Matter Management Specialist, CSC; Michael Stevens, Managing Director, Huron Consulting Group; and Aaron Van Nice, Director, Operations, Baxter International, Inc. will draw on their experiences implementing, managing, and extending legal technology systems in this session, sponsored by Corporation Service Company (CSC).

The panel discussion marks Day Two of the Interact agenda and is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2008, 2:30 - 3:20 pm.

"Legal departments are challenged to generate agile responses to emerging rules, regulations, and new business processes while at the same time reducing operational costs," said Afshin Behnia, Mitratech's President and CEO. "An effective legal technology strategy should be able to automate today's business challenges as well as respond to future concerns, in order to deliver a maximum return on investment. 'Avoiding the Technology RFP' will help organizations looking to reduce the risks and costs associated with multiple, disjointed implementations."

"Corporate legal departments are constantly subject to budget constraints -- both with respect to purchasing as well as the cost of internal IT support of disparate systems. These constraints challenge organizations to make better use of the technology they have, and to take advantage of system integration such as CSC's XML integration with Mitratech," said Reyner Meikle, Attorney and Litigation and Matter Management Specialist with CSC.

CSC will also be available in the Interact exhibit hall to demonstrate their newest legal technology solutions and offer additional consultation.
