Len Mortson Retires From GROWMARK Board

BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2007) - Len Mortson, Oro Station, Ont., retired from the GROWMARK Board of Directors. He was commended for his years of service at the organization's 2007 annual meeting in Chicago on August 30.

Mortson was elected to the GROWMARK Board in 1995. He has also served as a director of Simcoe District Co-operative Services, Barrie, Ont., and as president of the Canadian Jersey Cattle Association. He was a delegate to Co-operator's Insurance for four years and is currently a director of Co-operator's Insurance Group of Canada. Mortson and his wife Marg, along with their son Greg, operate a dairy farm.
