Leopard 38/Sunsail 384 Wins Again!

Named "Import Boat of The Year" & "Best Multihull Cruiser"

CLEARWATER, FL--(Marketwire - December 16, 2009) - Sunsail Sailing Vacations is thrilled to announce the Leopard 38 catamaran, also known to charterers as the Sunsail 384, has received top honors again as one of six winners in Cruising World's 17th annual Boat of The Year awards, earning itself the titles "Import Boat of The Year" and "Best Multihull Cruiser"!

The Sunsail 384, the custom-designed charter version of the Leopard 38, received extensive dockside inspections and sea trials by an independent panel of experts at the 2009 U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, Maryland.

CW said this yacht was selected as an industry leader for three reasons:

-- "The main living space, both in the cockpit and saloon, is spacious and
-- "The boat is equipped for offshore sailing."
-- "Sailing performance is excellent."

With 'edgy' Euro-styling and a generous sail plan, the Sunsail 384 delivers the perfect combination of performance and on-the-water fun! It has a large cockpit with an outside dining area and versatile ergonomic seating for up to eight guests. A functional hard-top bimini protects the cockpit area and helm station, where all the main sail controls are located for hassle-free maneuvers even with a limited crew.

Lex Raas, Sunsail President and CEO, commented, "As an affordable entry level catamaran, the Sunsail 384 is packed with many innovative features including a top-notch anchoring system with electric windlass, a convenient dinghy davit with electric winch, twin 30Hp diesel engines for good motoring performance and even solar panels, which can reduce engine hours by an estimated 20% and increase the lifespan of onboard batteries by up to five years!"

The design incorporates a spacious saloon area and aft-facing galley with a serving window overlooking the adjoining cockpit area. Accommodations include four double cabins and two forepeak berths, great for kids or additional storage, and two large heads with dedicated shower compartments.

Over 45 new catamarans are being delivered to Sunsail destinations in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean this winter and the Mediterranean next spring! The Sunsail 384 may be purchased through the Sunsail Yacht Partnership Program, with attractive guaranteed revenues, up to 12 weeks sailing time each year and no operating or maintenance costs, including dockage and insurance.
