It is with great pleasure that Les éditions esse presents the eighth edition of the benefit auction Vendu-Sold at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. This year, radio/TV host Patrick Masbourian, will act as auctioneer. This fund-raising event will enable the non-profit organization Les éditions esse to maintain its principal role of disseminating the work of artists and authors active in the contemporary arts milieu. Vendu-Sold 2016 also provides exceptional visibility for young and recognized Canadian artists of great talent.

The featured artists were chosen by a selection committee that vouches for the excellence of the selected works, comprising curator of the Hydro-Québec collection and president of Les éditions esse Anne-Claude Bacon, head of digital content development at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal and vice-president of Les éditions esse Julie Bélisle, executive director of Mois de la Photo à Montréal Audrey Genois, independent curator Réal Lussier, and director of Les éditions esse Sylvette Babin.
