Game Lovers Will Battle to Ace Classic Online Game for World Champion Title

NEWTON, MASSACHUSETTS and SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2009) - GSN and WorldWinner ( today announced that the Solitaire Rush W3Games Championship, the first tournament of the 2009 WorldWide Web Games (W3Games) championship series, will begin on March 2. The most skilled Solitaire Rush enthusiasts will compete for a World Champion title and their share of a $100,000 prize. Nine additional games will follow over the course of the year, with each tournament crowning a World Champion and awarding a substantial prize pool.

The 2009 W3Games will be a year-long series of online game tournaments featuring four marquee titles - Solitaire Rush, Bejeweled 2, Wheel of Fortune and Big Money - each with a $100,000 prize pool. After Solitaire Rush kicks off on March 2, several additional tournaments with prize pools ranging between $10,000 and $50,000 will be announced throughout the year. The 2009 W3Games offer more titles and more winners than ever before and each tournament will crown one World Champion. The top 32 finishers in each are guaranteed a portion of that game's prize pool, and the series' winnings will total more than $500,000 collectively.
