Letters-from-the-Heart Enriches Lives of Elderly

Award-Winning Letter Writer Creates Unique Mother's Day Gift

WEST PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - April 9, 2009) - Terry Rose created Letters-from-the-Heart when her work with a Florida hospital took her to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The loneliness Rose recognized in the residents motivated her to develop a unique and compassionate program of hand-written letters to help fill the loss of contact from former long-term friends and companions. "There are almost three generations of lonely seniors in care facilities around the nation and the world who are not computer literate. These are the women and men who enjoyed their generation's social graces and who wrote and received letters on a regular basis. It is my personal mission to bring this small pleasure back into their lives," says Rose.

Letters-from-the-Heart is an annual subscription which may be purchased by the family, guardian, elder care attorney, clergy person, trust attorney, or other caretaker responsible for the well-being of an elderly person. This highly-personalized year-long program consists of a unique letter each month, a birthday card and gift, and a festive holiday card and gift during the month of December. The cost of this program is less than $21 per month.
