Letv Rakes in $239 Million in Sales From China's "Singles Day"; e-Commerce Platform LeMall.com Officially Launches in U.S. With "Grand Celebration" Deals

386,000 Super TVs and 263,000 Le Superphones Sold Point to Success of Letv's Ecosystem Model

BEIJING, CHINA--(Marketwired - Nov 11, 2015) - Letv today announced that its total sales from China's annual shopping festival, Singles Day, had reached $239 million across all e-commerce platforms, including its very own LeMall.com, TMall.com, and JD.com. The robust figures point to the growing strength of Letv's ecosystem-based ecommerce presence, and signals the potentially massive impact with American consumers as it continues to build its stateside presence.

Though Singles Day sales were strong across all of Letv's devices, its Super TVs and Le Superphones stood out as the most impressive. An astounding 386,000 Super TVs were sold in total, resulting in a staggering $150.8 million in sales. At both Tmall and JD.com, it generated the highest TV sales volume and exceeded 100 million in sales on Tmall in record time.

The company's immensely popular line of Le Superphones also proved hugely successful, with over 263,000 units sold and $65.9 million generated in profit. Its 2nd-gen smartphone, the recently launched Le 1s, continues to set records, as it took home the highest sales volume among new products at JD.com. These numbers highlight a remarkable growth trajectory for Letv's smartphones and smart TVs in particular which, in a relatively compact period of time, have surged in popularity among Chinese consumers, beating out other top competitors.

Letv's noteworthy Singles Day sales figures also set the table for bringing its ecosystem of devices and experiences to U.S. consumers. Earlier today, it officially launched LeMall in the U.S., delivering "Grand Celebration" deals such as .99 bluetooth speakers and promotional offers for other premium accessories. Later this year, it plans to make its immensely popular Super TVs available for U.S. consumers.
