LevelUp Partners Snag Top Spots in FastCasual's Top 100 Movers and Shakers


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - June 15, 2016) - Last month, major players from the top fast casual brands gathered in Chicago to celebrate FastCasual's top 100 Movers & Shakers. The list consisted of 75 brands and 25 executives, rated on growth, sales and innovation across several categories.

Grilled cheese purveyor and LevelUp client Tom + Chee snagged the number 2 spot on the list. Tom + Chee was featured on ABC's Shark Tank, where Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran invested $600,000 in the company. LevelUp clients Tropical Smoothie Café and &pizza also placed in the top 10 at spots 5 and 7 respectively. Both Mike Rotondo, CEO of Tropical Smoothie Café, and Michael Lastoria, co-founder of &pizza, were also named 2 of the Top 25 Executives on FastCasual's list.

Close behind in the top 50 were Pincho Factory, sweetgreen, Salata, Cowboy Chicken, and Fresh to Order. Berge Simonian, CEO of Salata, joined Mike Rotondo and Michael Lastoria as one of the top 25 executives.

Rounding out the list were 6 more LevelUp partners: Boloco, Roti Modern Mediterranean, Curry Up Now, La Madeleine, Blue Lemon and Giraffas Brazilian Grill. In total, LevelUp partners represented nearly 20% of the award winners.
