Levi & Korsinsky, LLP Announces Class Action Lawsuit Against Immucor, Inc. - BLUD

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 16, 2009) - Levi & Korsinsky announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on behalf of purchasers of Immucor, Inc. ("Immucor" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: BLUD) stock during the period between October 19, 2005, through April 23, 2009 (the "Class Period").

The complaint alleges that Immucor and certain of its officers and directors violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by failing to disclose that Immucor was operating in violation of the federal antitrust laws of the United States. On April 24, 2009, Immucor issued a press release announcing, in part, that it had received a subpoena from the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, pertaining to an investigation of possible violations of the federal criminal antitrust laws in the blood reagents industry. As a result of this news, Immucor's stock price dropped from $20.98 on April 23, 2009 to $15.35 on the next trading day.

If you purchased Immucor common stock during the Class Period and wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the court by October 26, 2009. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. You do not need to seek appointment as a lead plaintiff in order to share in any recovery.
