LEWIS Revenues Leap 42% in Record Year

Strong Organic Performance and Strategic Acquisitions Drive Growth for FY 2014


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 11, 2014) - LEWIS PR, the global communications agency, finished its fiscal year on July 31 with global revenues of $57 million. This represents year-on-year growth of 42%. The agency now has more than 500 employees across 28 offices.

Organic growth was driven by new client wins in all regions, including SAS UK and Ireland, Nikon, Spotify and Zumba Fitness. The agency's digital marketing division, LEWIS Pulse, grew by over 70%. Asia-Pacific was the fastest-growing region, while the US remained the largest territory, representing 43% of total group revenues.

The agency completed two strategic acquisitions this year: Digital marketing specialist Purestone added new production capabilities to LEWIS Pulse. EBA Communications gave LEWIS a presence in China. LEWIS also launched LEWIS+, a partner network that extends its reach to 75 countries.

LEWIS continued to invest in senior talent in all regions this year. Key hires included Steven Hua, Director of Digital Marketing, Daniel Blank, Head of Pulse in Germany and Min Chow who joined the Singapore team as Managing Director. To accommodate this growth, the agency also invested in major office refurbishments and expansions in London, Singapore, Paris and Boston.
