Li-ion Motors Corp. (OTCBB: LMCO) (FRANKFURT: LL9L) Forms Engineering Alliance With Sky Power Solutions, Corp. (OTCBB: SPOW) for the Further Development of the Sky Power Solutions Stand Alone, Concentrating Solar Collecting, Electric Generation System

MOORESVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - Jun 27, 2011) - Li-ion Motors Corp. (OTCBB: LMCO), winner of the 2010 X-Prize using 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free, all electric, high speed, long range automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium-ion battery technology, is excited to report it has entered into an engineering alliance with Sky Power Solutions, Corp. (OTCBB: SPOW) to share and collaborate on the design and development of the Sky Power Solutions Residential solar concentrating, stand alone electric generation system for use by homeowners taking advantage of advancements in Lithium Ion batteries and battery management systems.

Li-ion Motors will collaborate with Sky Power Solutions by providing technical and engineering assistance working towards a viable, economical, clean, green solution to our country's future energy needs with the development of Sky Power Solutions' stand alone, solar concentrating, residential electric generation system.

Li-ion is not new to electric cars. Formed in 2000, the company is a pioneer in the advanced development of Lithium Ion battery technology with many years of research and development. Li-ion has been converting internal combustion cars to all-electric and is poised for significant growth moving forward.

Li-ion has converted PT Cruisers, Mini Coopers, Toyota Yaris', Pontiac Vibes, trucks, and motorcycles. The company's customer base extends to other countries including Canada, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to converting internal combustion vehicles to all-electric, Li-ion Motors Corp. has developed two vehicles designed and manufactured from the ground up. The WAVE II, a two seat commuter car with 28 cubic feet of trunk space and winner of the 2010 Progressive Automotive X-Prize side by side competition, with an impressive 187 MPGe, and the Argonne National Lab (Dept. of Energy) has rated the WAVE II at 202.5 MPGe. WAVE II can travel up to 250 miles on a single charge. In addition to the WAVE II commuter car, Li-ion introduced Inizio, the world's fastest, all-electric, zero gas, zero emissions Supercar.

This 100% electric supercar, Inizio, is capable of 170 MPH with acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 3.4 Seconds and ZERO EMISSION. The Inizio has a 114 inch wheel-base and a 78 inch wide footprint. Both the WAVE II and the Inizio are in the process of DOT Certification, and upon completion anticipated public release will be by the end of this year.
