Library and Archives Canada Celebrates Canadian Women

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 7, 2005) - Today is International
Women's Day and Library and Archives Canada would like to honour the
Canadian women who have made a significant contribution to all aspects
of our society. The following web sites feature the writers, athletes,
artists, musicians, and social and political leaders who have made a
difference and continue to inspire new generations.

Celebrating Women's Achievements - This site offers a glimpse into the
lives of accomplished Canadian women who have found recognition in the
