Conference Held to Launch 'J'ai le droit de lire'
Campaign

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2005) - Library and Archives
Canada and LectureOttawa, an OCRI program, invite you to a news
conference to announce the kick-off of a new reading awareness campaign
called "J'ai le droit de lire". The news conference will be held on
Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at noon in the sunken lobby of Library and
Archives Canada.

The aim of the campaign is to distribute copies of the daily LeDroit in
exchange for donations to the program LectureOttawa.

Michel Benac, singer in the group Swing and spokesperson for the
campaign, is the guest speaker at the news conference.

LectureOttawa is a unique partnership with area schools and businesses
that draws volunteers from the corporate and public sectors to read
one-on-one with children in Ottawa's francophone schools.
