Lice Clinics of America Opens New Treatment Center in Albuquerque

One-of-a-Kind Clinic Provides FDA Cleared, One-Hour Lice Treatments for New Mexico Kids and Families

ALBUQUERQUE, NM--(Marketwired - August 16, 2016) - Head lice causes stress, disgust and embarrassment for millions of families every year, but thanks to the opening of a new Lice Clinics of America Clinic, parents in Albuquerque and surrounding areas no longer have to worry about treating the bugs themselves.

Lice Clinics of America - Southwest is now open at 6001 San Mateo Boulevard NE - Suite E-1 and is accepting appointments for screening, diagnosis and treatment. The Albuquerque clinic is staffed by certified operators of the AirAllé device, an FDA-cleared medical device that kills head lice and lice eggs using just heated air. Treatments take one hour.

Lice Clinics of America - Southwest is owned and operated by Gretchen Collins and Ashley Dunn, two Albuquerque-area mothers that have three children each under the age of twelve.

"We want to provide an immediate solution and one that works," said Collins. "Without the AirAllé device, it can take weeks or months to fully eradicate head lice from a family. Lice are getting stronger and more resistant to over the counter products."

The AirAllé device is also proven to be effective in killing super lice.

The clinic is open seven days per week by appointment which can be made by calling 505-585-4234.

With clinics in more than 20 countries, including 100 in the U.S., Lice Clinics of America ( is the largest network of professional head-lice-treatment centers in the world. Lice Clinics of America and AirAllé ( are brands owned by Larada Sciences, Inc.
