SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 10, 2012) - LifeApps Digital Media Inc., (OTCQB: LFAP) (OTCBB: LFAP), an emerging growth company and designer of apps and next-generation social networks for sports, health, fitness and entertainment enthusiasts, is pleased to announce the immediate release of MDWorkout.com, a comprehensive workout tutorial app for Apple iOS devices.
The all-new MDWorkout App has been rewritten from the ground up and is now available on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The app supports beautiful HD graphics that are designed to take advantage of Apple's new Retina display, and the experience is optimized for all iOS screen sizes, including the new 4" screen on the iPhone 5.
"We've designed MDWorkout to be the best and most affordable workout companion for at home workouts, workouts on the road, and even in the gym," commented Jacquelyn Davis, Athlete and Marketing Manager at LifeApps Digital Media. "Whether someone is a performance athlete or simply looking to live a healthier lifestyle, MDWorkout is the simple, easy, fast and effective way to help make that happen."
MDWorkout is a free app for download from the iTunes store that features exercises explained and demonstrated by medical doctors, certified trainers and professional yoga instructors. Users can log and view their workout history for each workout, with all entries recorded and aggregated over time. This workout progress can even be shared with friends via the new in-app share button and post directly to Facebook and Twitter.
In addition, high definition (HD) instructional videos complete with voice-over instructions are available for nearly every workout. A few HD videos are included to get users started and additional videos are easily available for purchase within the app. Videos are downloaded directly to the user's device and no longer require an internet connection to play, saving bandwidth and making the videos reliable after they've been downloaded.
"The redesigned interface is a snap to use and much faster to navigate than ever before," added LifeApps CEO Robert Gayman. "For instance, users can now create their own sequence of routines, or select their favorite exercises for a full body workout. We've also included the ability to personalize the entire experience with background images and even allow users to add their own photo to the log book for inspiration."
MDWorkout® features training protocols and charting in:
- Functional Training
- Foam Roller Stretching
- Tension Workout Bands
- Nutrition and Log Book
The MDWorkout App is available now, free of charge, from iTunes at:
