Lifebank Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

BURNABY, BRITISH COLOMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 8, 2005) - Lifebank Cryogenics Corp. (TSX VENTURE:LBK), a leading provider of processing and storage of umbilical cord blood stem cells, today announced the appointment of Nathalie Pilon as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Pilon assumed her new role on August 29th.

Ms. Pilon has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at a number of public and private life science and resource companies.

"Nathalie is a seasoned financial executive with a strong presence in the investment community," says Lifebank President Ernest Stacey. "She has a proven track record of financial expertise, as well as reaching out to investors in building lasting relationships. Ms. Pilon graduated from the Universite de Sherbrooke, Bachelor of Business Administration program with a major in marketing, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada.

Ms. Pilon replaces Mr. Owen Granger, who will remain with Lifebank as a Director.
