LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - September 09, 2016) - SpaceCycle, the influential lifestyle fitness brand in Taipei, has announced the launch of flagship locations in Beijing and Shanghai. As part of its September opening, SpaceCycle has enlisted five US celebrity trainers to visit and train China's top stars and influencers.
Blurring the lines of fitness and pop culture, SpaceCycle features signature styles of indoor cycling, barre and yoga -- powered by music curated by Asia's top DJ's, celebrity trainers, and SpaceCycle's very own in-house music curation department. The experience is brought to life in 900m2 (9700 sq feet) purpose-built studios engineered for a complete sensory experience. Sound and lighting are designed by the Grammy award winning team at 3-Legged Dog (New York).
Music is the heart of SpaceCycle. Classes are conceptualized and communicated through music. SpaceCycle teachers receive in-depth training in their physical modalities and in the art of using music to create a meaningful, multi-layered classroom experience. SpaceCycle's brand slogan pulses throughout all aspects of its approach and offerings: "Moved by Music".
Hollywood's top trainers are queuing up their best playlists September 1-9th for a tour of Beijing/Taipei. There they will be training some of Asia's hottest stars at SpaceCycle, and infusing popular American music and social media into the fitness house's current routines. Celeb trainers include: Cardio Dance Queen, Simone de la Rue (Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon), Star Trainer from "The Biggest Loser", Brett Hoebel (Victoria Secret Models), Hip Hop Cardio Expert, JJ Dancer (Jessica Alba, tours with Beyonce, Kanye), Indoor Cycling and Barre Expert Shay Kostabi (Katrina Boden, Charles Oakley), and Indoor Cycling and Yoga Trainer Barry Ennis (Dakota Fanning, Vanessa Hudgens).
SpaceCycle has positioned itself as the clear choice for trendsetters in Asia. SpaceCycle's star-studded client base includes top Taiwanese musicians and models as Harlem Yu, Elva Xiao, Eddie Peng, Lin Zhiling, A Mei, and A Lin (brand Ambassador for Taiwan launch). SpaceCycle utilized the help of health and wellness public relations firm Dunn Pellier Media (DPM) in Los Angeles to help book the celebrity fitness team.
