LILEE Systems Adds Chief Financial Officer Karen Willem to Executive Team as the Company Continues Rapid Growth

Seasoned Industry Veteran to Build on the Company's History of Success

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 12, 2015) - LILEE Systems, the leading provider of advanced wired and wireless communication products, solutions and services for the transportation industry, today announced that Karen Willem has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. The expansion of the company's executive team is instrumental in driving its next growth phase.

Karen joins LILEE Systems from iPass, the world's largest Wi-Fi network provider, where she was CFO. Prior to iPass, she was CFO of Xsigo Systems, a leader in network virtualization technology that was acquired by Oracle. Karen held executive management positions at Openwave Systems, Cassatt Corporation and Brio Software where she led the highly successful IPO.

"LILEE Systems is fast becoming a technology leader in the expanding IoT market with our Connectivity in Motion™ solutions. I'm excited to be joining the company at this time," Willem said. "Having worked directly in the wireless space in the past, I know firsthand the value our company provides and the quality of its team and solutions. I very much look forward to playing a key role as we execute our long-term global growth strategy."

"The success of our company is closely tied to the experience and expertise of our team and Karen brings a deep and unique background that is instrumental to our growth," said Jia-Ru Li, CEO of LILEE Systems. "As we expand our global reach, her contribution will have a significant impact on the future of our company."

Karen's addition to the executive team amplifies LILEE Systems' continued expansion in strategic markets. The technology innovator has grown revenues by a compound annual growth rate of 270% since shipping its first products. Earlier this year, Nadine North joined the company as Vice President of Talent and Luc Ceuppens as Vice President of Marketing, accelerating this growth momentum.

Nadine was the head of talent with two global enterprise software companies that became industry leaders. At Siebel Systems, her team drove growth from 800 to 8000 staff across 25 countries as the company grew revenue to $1.5B. During her tenure, Siebel was recognized as Fortune Magazine's Fastest Growing Company for 3 consecutive years. At Pegasystems, her team led staff growth from 80 to 800 and through their IPO. Most recently, Nadine was the Operating Partner at Taylor Winfield, an executive search firm.

Luc joined LILEE Systems with an extensive and successful background in Product, Marketing and Go-to-Market strategies for technology companies. He is an experienced marketing and technology leader driving market share and revenue growth in highly-competitive markets. He held senior management positions at ADVA AG, Juniper Networks, Solectron Corp, Level 3 Communications and WorldCom (MFS/UUNET).
