Limeade Offers 25% Trade-In Discount to Nationwide Better Health(R) Customers Affected by Nationwide's Exit From the Health and Productivity Business

BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwire - Jun 23, 2011) - Henry Albrecht, CEO of Limeade, Inc., today announced that starting today Limeade is offering a 25% trade-in discount to Nationwide Better Health® customers impacted by Nationwide exiting the employer health and productivity business. Limeade is an online corporate wellness platform that builds happy, healthy, high-performance workforces.

Limeade, a national wellness company recognized for its integrated well-being, health, and productivity improvement wellness approach, created the 25% trade-in discount offer as a response to multiple calls the company has received from HR and benefits executives scrambling to replace their integrated health and productivity programs. Such programs include health and productivity assessment, incentive management, social engagement, health and lifestyle coaching and outcomes reporting.

"We have received some pretty frantic customer calls. HR and benefits managers are looking for sustainable alternatives that can be deployed rapidly and efficiently. Our agile approach enables us to move quickly in cases like this. We want to let folks know that we're here with an engaging solution that can significantly ease their transition to a new wellness provider," stated Albrecht.

Limeade's 25% trade-in discount offer is good through September 30, 2011. All quotes including the 25% trade-in discount generated by Limeade prior to October 1, 2011 will be deemed valid to the extent specified in quote terms and conditions. This offer applies to the first year of any contract entered into during this period, and includes all fees relating to online and telephonic wellness services purchased directly from Limeade, for all employers with 1,000-plus wellness-eligible employees and spouses. The offer is valid for new Limeade customers only. Employers can obtain additional details about the trade-in offer from their Limeade sales representative.

Albrecht continued, "These employers have made commitments to the health and well-being of their workforces. We'd be honored to help these employers keep those commitments."

Nationwide's exit from the health and productivity business was announced by Terri Hill, President of Nationwide Better Health®, in The Columbus Dispatch on May 5, 2011. According to Ms. Hill, Nationwide "...determined that the health and productivity lines of business were unable to sustain a level of long-term profitability without a significant capital infusion... While any decision that has an impact on associates is difficult, our analysis combined with limited strategic fit, led to the decision to exit the health and productivity businesses."
