Limelight Media Taps Talent Veteran Ian Weintraub as Vice President, Marketing

Limelight Opens New York Office; Weintraub to Oversee


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - November 17, 2016) - Limelight Media, a Los Angeles-based entertainment marketing firm specializing in celebrity procurement for advertising and PR campaigns has named Ian Weintraub as Vice President, Marketing and head of its New York office. In his new role, Weintraub will help expand the company's reach and ability to service their clients' needs throughout each individual campaign. He will be instrumental in identifying talent, developing and negotiating program parameters, and managing the brand/talent relationships throughout the life of each client's unique partnership. Weintraub will report directly to Limelight Media Founder Wendy Dutwin.

Limelight Media has worked with Shire on many of their recent celebrity campaigns, including securing Jennifer Aniston for their EyeLove campaign, pro-golfer Phil Mickelson for their Enbrel campaign, actress Blythe Danner for their Prolia campaign as well as athlete Monica Seles for their Binge Eating Disorder campaign, Maroon 5 and 'The Voice' co-star Adam Levine and actress Holly Robinson Peete for their ADHD campaigns.

Weintraub has had an extensive career in talent management and partnership marketing. He began his career at ICM where he worked with A-list talent, such as Dennis Hopper, Sylvester Stallone, and Shirley MacLaine. He also worked at UPP Entertainment Marketing, shifting his focus from talent to brand representation. Over seven years at UPP, Ian championed numerous ground breaking branded entertainment programs. As Director of Branded Integration, he was responsible for Waste Management's integration in the premiere episode of CBS' Undercover Boss and Jockey's multi-year endorsement partnership with celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe. Weintraub also developed successful onscreen placement and influencer engagement programs for Samsung, TaylorMade-adidas, Motorola, Lexus, and P&G. He also consulted for PepsiCo.
