Fourth Quarter Ended December 31, 2004

GUELPH, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2005) - Linamar Corporation
(TSX:LNR) will hold a conference call on March 8, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. EST
to discuss its results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2004.

the start of the conference call. The conference call will be chaired by
