Lincoln Chiropractor Launches New Website for Patients

LINCOLN, NE--(Marketwire - Sep 27, 2011) - Lincoln-based Southwest Chiropractic Center, PC has announced the launch of its new website, http://swchiropracticcenter.com. According to Dr. Teresa Larson, a chiropractor with the practice, the new site is designed to educate and inform patients about chiropractic care. The practice also offers complementary treatments, including acupuncture and physical therapy to help patients recover from a personal accident injury or auto injury.

Dr. Teresa Larson, a Lincoln chiropractor with Southwest Chiropractic Center PC, announced the launch of a new website for patients, http://swchiropracticcenter.com. The family chiropractic practice helps patients of all ages, including children and seniors, manage back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, pregnancy pain, and other sources of pain.

"Our redesigned website naturally complements the mission of our practice, which is to help all patients live healthy, active lifestyles," said Dr. Larson. "Many of our patients are unfamiliar with chiropractic care or other complementary therapies like acupuncture. Our new website is a wonderful resource for individuals to learn more about these patient-proven, non-invasive therapies."

The "Community Content" section on the website is an extensive wellness library with information on the history of chiropractic care, the science behind chiropractic adjustments and an explanation of how these treatments can restore balance to the musculoskeletal system, relieve back pain and neck pain, and help patients heal naturally.

Lincoln acupuncture patients can learn more about the practice's electric stimulation and needle-based acupuncture treatments on the "Services and Techniques" page. There is also information here about other complementary therapies, including physical therapy.

"Our practice follows a whole body approach to treatment, which is different than traditional medical care," said Dr. Larson. "Unlike medical treatments, which rely on prescription painkillers to cover up back pain and neck pain, we work to correct the underlying problem through natural, non-invasive care. Our new website is a great way to educate patients about treatment options and our approach to care."

Southwest Chiropractic Center PC is actively involved in the Lincoln community. Individuals can learn more about the practice's commitment to the community, including the breast cancer walk, on the "In The Community" page.

Interested individuals can also sign up for the free, bi-weekly e-newsletter. The newsletter is filled with health and wellness articles, and tailored to the needs of each recipient, with an individual focus on nutrition, women's health, weight loss, injury recovery, and more. Individuals who sign up for the free e-newsletter will also receive access to the "Members Only" content on the website. This content includes video exercises, wellness lifestyle tips, and a special "wellness4kids" section.

"Our whole body approach to wellness means we do not just want to relieve pain, but help each patient live an active and healthy life," said Dr. Larson. "The Member Wellness library is a great resource for helping people stay motivated and committed to a healthy lifestyle."
