Lincoln Military Housing Celebrates Ten Years of Supporting Camp Pendleton and MCB Quantico Military Families

Lincoln Military Housing Has Engineered Incredible Military Communities in Both Southern California and Virginia

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2013) - Lincoln Military Housing (LMH) has cause for celebration! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the privatization of over 11,000 housing units on both Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Base Quantico. In 1996, the US government passed the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI), legislation that allows private companies to leverage their expertise and experience in managing multi-unit residential areas in a military housing capacity. The ability to privatize the housing component of many military bases across the US has improved the quality of life and general living conditions for our soldiers and their families.

2003 saw ground breaking ceremonies on both Camp Pendleton and MCB Quantico, in which Lincoln Military Housing was given the opportunity to refurbish, reconstruct, and redesign a vast number of the housing at these bases. 2013 marks the ten-year anniversary of this groundbreaking, and Lincoln Military is proud to announce that over a thousand homes have been completed. In addition to the dramatically upgraded living quarters, LMH has constructed incredible community features, such as kiddie play areas, swimming pools, recreation and meeting rooms, and Wi-Fi cafes. The goal of Lincoln Military Housing is to enhance existing architecture, build accommodating new structures, engineer amazing community enhancements, and most of all provide superior services to its military families. LMH believes that Every Mission Begins At Home and strives to meet the unique needs of the nation's service members and their families.
