Linde Intends to Issue Senior Benchmark Bonds

WIESBADEN, GERMANY and MUNICH, GERMANY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 13, 2007 -- Linde Finance BV, guaranteed by Linde AG, (Baa1 stable/BBB stable) has mandated Deutsche Bank as Global Coordinator for its upcoming benchmark dual-currency senior bond offering. Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and UniCredit Group (HVB) will act as joint-bookrunners for two EUR denominated tranches. Deutsche Bank and HSBC will act as joint-bookrunners on a simultaneous GBP denominated tranche. All notes will be documented under the existing EMTN- program. A three day European roadshow will commence on April 16th, 2007. The transaction will be launched subject to market conditions.
