LineStream Technologies Bolsters Management Team With Appointment of CTO and VP of Marketing

Demand Rapidly Growing for Energy-Efficient Control Solutions

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - Aug 23, 2011) - LineStream Technologies Inc., an innovator of software-based control solutions for the industrial automation industry, announced today two additions to its management team with the appointment of Gang Tian as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Matthew Zilli as Vice President of Marketing. LineStream is redefining the industrial control and motor control industries with easy to deploy software that enhances energy-efficiency and brings standard control methods into the 21st century.

Mr. Tian is highly regarded as a technical luminary and product design expert in advancing user-friendly, high-performance control software based on the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) concept. His work with LineStream Technologies control solutions began in the labs of Cleveland State University (CSU) where he oversaw pilot industrial installations and head-to-head testing in the labs of Fortune 500 providers. Tian earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Fenn College of Engineering at CSU, and also received a Bachelor of Telecommunication Engineering at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China.

Mr. Zilli brings a wealth of business development and marketing experience spanning technology and electronics industries. Recent leadership positions include head of sales and marketing at VideoGenie; and product and business development manager at Rovi Corp (formerly Macrovision). Zilli also served as business development manager at Texas Instruments where he worked with hundreds of TI's software partners. Zilli earned an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley where he was awarded a Mayfield Fellowship. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Santa Clara University where he graduated Cum Laude.

LineStream is addressing the $10-billion opportunity to advance standard control methods that have been stagnant for more than 50 years. Recently, the company announced that Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) licensed its newly released SpinTAC™ tuning and control technology. Deploying SpinTAC will provide TI's motor control customers with performance advantages and superior tools expected to dramatically shorten design cycles. Customers will include OEM manufacturers of motor-controlled products ranging from washing machines to medical equipment.
