Link Plus Awarded Contract by U.S. Army

COLUMBIA, MD--(Marketwire - September 25, 2007) - Link Plus Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a sole source contract by the United States Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command. This contract is for the development and delivery of its SAFE-T™ Paint explosives detection technology in a delivery system to be used in projectiles for an existing weapon system.

SAFE-T™ Paint utilizes Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs), an advanced technology developed at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), to detect dangerous substances that might be used in a terrorist attack. Link Plus has exclusive worldwide licenses to this proven and patented technology.

SAFE-T™ Paint explosive detection is being coupled with an existing deployed weapon system. This system will have direct application to not only the Army's War on Terror abroad, but to every law enforcement agency concerned with having to deal with deadly explosives and the people who employ them.
