Link Plus Names Senior International Banker Kent Atkinson Chairman of the Board

Active Board Member of Several Major Multi-National Corporations Joins Board of Security Technology & Explosive Detection Company

COLUMBIA, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 5, 2006 -- Link Plus Corporation (, producer of sophisticated new homeland security and utility solutions that integrate advanced wireless networking and explosive detection technologies, announced today that international banker Kent Atkinson has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Atkinson, who spent nearly four decades in international banking in Latin America, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom with Lloyds TSB Banking Group, including 8 years as Chief Financial Officer, joins Link Plus as the company accelerates its plans to commercialize its family of new security solutions.

"We are thrilled to have Kent join our team at this important point of our development," said Robert L. Jones, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Link Plus Corporation. "He brings extensive insight and expertise in helping companies expand into new global markets which will be critical as we continue adding new customers for our MIPs-based solutions that have broad appeal in security applications as well as in the utility industry."

Mr. Atkinson currently is the Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committees of Coca-Cola HBC S.A. and telent plc (previously Marconi plc). His broad executive engagements with leading multinational corporations also include his roles as non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committees of Standard Life plc and Standard Life Assurance Limited and member of Standard Life's Investment Committee. He also serves Gemalto N.V. as a non-Executive Director, a member of the Audit Committee, and a member of the Strategy and M&A Committee.

"We have reached a point around the world where ensuring the safety and quality of our daily lives requires substantially increased security but it's also important that we achieve it in a way that is less invasive and overt," said Kent Atkinson. "Link Plus is ideally positioned to meet this need and already has new technology in place in critical pilot programs where it is proving highly effective. I'm excited to join the company in the final leg of commercializing this technology and rolling it out globally."

Mr. Atkinson's appointment at Link Plus follows that of Admiral David Stone, the former head of the Transportation Safety Administration for the Department of Homeland Security, who in September was appointed Chairman of the Link Plus Corporation Advisory Board.

The new Link Plus products are based on Molecular Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) technology developed and patented by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. Link Plus has an exclusive global license to apply MIPs technology to a broad range of applications and has developed sophisticated new security solutions now in pilot commercial deployments in major airports, subway systems and ports around the world. The company also is scheduled to initiate an additional trial with a major European utility company in the first half of 2007.

Based on its MIPs technology, Link Plus is testing a broad family of security solutions, including an array of highly sensitive wireless sensors and monitors that provide real-time detection of explosives, chemical and biological agents, toxins, poisons and other hazardous materials. The company has also developed a low-cost, highly effective solution for real-time monitoring of electricity, gas and water service. Again leveraging its MIPs technology, these new Link Plus solutions can provide real-time detection of gas leaks and water contamination among other characteristics.

Link Plus has entered into joint development agreements with a number of companies to test these new solutions and to maximize market opportunities.
