Liquid Machines CEO to Unveil Company's Strategy for Integration With Data Loss Prevention Solutions at the 2009 America's Growth Capital Conference

Session to Highlight New Products, Recent Customer and Partner Successes and How Integration of DLP and ERM Extends Liquid Machines' Industry Leadership

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 20, 2009) - AGC Conference -- At today's America's Growth Capital Conference, Mike Ruffolo, CEO of Liquid Machines®, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Rights Management (ERM) solutions, will outline his company's vision for the future of intellectual property security and data loss prevention (DLP) at the Westin Hotel in San Francisco. Ruffolo's morning session at the America's Growth Capital Information Security Conference caps off a successful year for Liquid Machines, during which time it broadened its existing relationships with industry leaders such as Microsoft and Symantec, announced a new partnership with McAfee in support of DLP integration, released a slate of new and updated products that solve key information protection and security challenges -- ones that cost companies more than $1 trillion in 2008, a year which has accounted for more data breached than in the four previous years combined, according to recent research reports from McAfee and Verizon Business Security Solutions, respectively.

Companies are increasingly facing security threats to their intellectual property from existing insiders or previous employees. The deluge of recent industry layoffs has created unique challenges as research shows that most employees take data with them when they leave jobs. A 2008 Liquid Machines survey found that nearly 40 percent of senior executives took confidential information with them when they left a job.

"Today, data loss prevention and enterprise rights management software have emerged as leading solutions to protect against data breaches and information loss," stated Ruffolo. "While the two solutions target the same problem of preventing data loss, each solution approaches it from a unique, yet complementary, perspective. DLP's strengths lie in the location and classification of data within an enterprise's network; however, once sent outside the network boundary, ERM protection and control must be applied to persistently protect the information against unauthorized access or usage. DLP and ERM integration delivers on the promise of persistent information protection."

Ruffolo's session at the AGC Conference will highlight the following key areas:

-- Specific DLP and ERM integration use cases: Ruffolo will detail
examples of customer scenarios, explain how Liquid Machines extends its
integration to Microsoft Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD
RMS) and discuss progress to date with industry-leading DLP vendors such as
    McAfee and Websense.
-- Expanded partnership with Microsoft's Identity and Security Business
Unit: With the most AD RMS customer deployments of other current Microsoft
Certified ISV partners, Liquid Machines has achieved the status of
Microsoft Managed Partner, which is awarded to companies who meet a
stringent set of business, technical and customer requirements.
-- New product announcements: Throughout the RSA Conference, Liquid
Machines will be making several product announcements to include
advancements to its award-winning ERM platform.
-- The Company's recent entry into the SMB market with a new solution
targeted to help small and midsized companies meet the stringent privacy
regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Office of Consumer
    Affairs and Business Regulation.
-- The Company's growth in the public sector, through strengthened
    relationships with key system integrators.

In addition to the AGC Conference Liquid Machines will be at the RSA Conference held in the Moscone Center (booth #1152) from Monday evening through Thursday afternoon; Liquid Machines' executives will be available to discuss DLP and ERM integration as well as demonstrate the Liquid Machines ERM software platform with its unique integration for Microsoft AD RMS.
