Liquid Machines Joins McAfee Security Innovation Alliance

Company to Integrate With McAfee ePO to Extend Endpoint Deployment, Management, and Reporting Capabilities

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - October 6, 2009) - Liquid Machines®, Inc., a leader in Enterprise Rights Management (ERM) solutions, today announced that it has joined the McAfee® Security Innovation Alliance™ (SIA) partner program. Under the McAfee SIA program, Liquid Machines will integrate its ERM platform with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO™) software.

The Liquid Machines ERM platform persistently protects electronic information by combining centrally defined data access and information usage policies with its patented Policy Droplet™ control interface to simultaneously promote a collaborative environment and protect sensitive information without changing the way users work. Access (based on standard encryption) and usage (e.g. read, write, print, copy, paste) controls travel with files and emails, protecting misuse or leakage of information inside or outside the firewall. All controls are dynamic, support off-line and expiration constraints, and are audited centrally for compliance reporting. Customers benefit from the persistent protection of intellectual property and regulated data.

"The Liquid Machines and McAfee partnership will greatly benefit our customers with large enterprise deployments, enabling robust deployment, management and reporting of our endpoint software," said Ed Gaudet, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing at Liquid Machines. "Our integration with McAfee ePO will extend our platform's ability to improve protection, increase compliance and reduce operational costs for enterprise customers."

"A key goal behind the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program is to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and simplify the integration of those products with complex customer environments," said Ed Barry, Senior Director of the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee. "We're thrilled to see Liquid Machines leverage McAfee's investment in its security risk management platform and provide additional value to our mutual customers."

McAfee ePO is the first platform that lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With more than 35,000 customers and managing more than 55 million PCs and servers, this unique platform is helping McAfee SIA partners to extend their reach and create complementary functionality.
