EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - April 9, 2014) - Liquor Stores N.A. Ltd. (the "Company" or "Liquor Stores") (TSX:LIQ) today announced the appointment of Mr. David Gordey, as the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Gordey previously served as the Company's Vice President, Finance and has been a member of the Liquor Stores' management team since 2012. He is a Chartered Accountant, formerly of KPMG LLP (Edmonton), who brings to his position a wealth of experience in public company financial reporting and senior leadership.
Mr. de Grace, the outgoing Chief Financial Officer, has departed the Company for personal reasons. Mr. Stephen Bebis, President and Chief Executive Officer, noted, "We'd like to thank Pat for his many years of dedicated service to Liquor Stores, and wish him well with future endeavours."
