Lisa Weil Named to SPARK Institute's Board of Directors

ProcessUnity Vice President Will Help Shape National Policy for the Retirement Services Industry

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jun 17, 2013) - 2013 SPARK National Conference -- ProcessUnity, a privately-held risk management software company, today announced that Lisa Weil, vice president of Industry Solutions, has been named to the SPARK Institute's board of directors in Washington, D.C.

The SPARK Institute is a retirement industry advocacy group that is a powerful voice in Washington providing leadership in resolving critical regulatory and legislative policy issues. It is the only trade association exclusively representing the interests of retirement plan industry institutions, including record keepers, mutual fund companies, brokerage firms, insurance companies, banks, third party administrators, consultants, trade clearing firms and investment managers.

Ms. Weil was named by ProcessUnity to join The SPARK Institute Board of Directors after taking into consideration her 20+ years of experience in the technology, financial services, retirement and human resource benefits outsourcing industries. Lisa has hands-on experience managing complex product portfolios and instituting programs that ensure customers recognize the value of solutions delivered, a critical challenge facing the industry that ProcessUnity's Service Delivery Risk Management (SDRM) solution aims to fix.

"We are happy to have Lisa join The SPARK Institute Board of Directors representing ProcessUnity, and we look forward to her involvement on several SPARK Institute committees," said Marlene Jung, chief financial officer of the SPARK Institute.

As a board member, Ms. Weil's responsibilities will include serving on the Government Relations Committee and key task forces focused on business issues facing the retirement industry, and attending Institute meetings with regulators, legislators and other industry trade groups; playing a key role in the Institute by voting on critical decisions about its priorities and positions; and shaping the Institute's most important positions in comment letters to legislators and regulators, among other tasks.

"I am excited to expand my exposure to the constituency that the SPARK Institute serves, and to grow my awareness of the issues our industry is facing on a national level," said Ms. Weil. "As a member of the board of directors, I will leverage my direct experience overseeing deployment of ProcessUnity's SDRM solution and daily exposure to our customers' greatest concerns in the rapidly evolving retirement services industry."
