L'Isle-Verte Manufacturing Firm Cotech/XMetal Inc. Unveils its New Plant


L'ISLE-VERTE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 12, 2014) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Cotech/XMetal Inc. has been granted financial assistance for productivity enhancement.

This support has been awarded in the form of a $600,000 repayable financial contribution through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP).

Quick facts

  • The funding has helped Cotech/XMetal Inc. to expand and reconfigure its metal cutting and folding plant as well as acquire new equipment.
  • In addition to increasing the firm's productivity and production levels, the project should enable it to offer new products and develop its markets.
