Listening to Music on Your iPhone Just Got Easier: Simplify Media Launches Simplify Music 2.0

New Version Enables Easy Remote Access to Home Computer Music Collections From Any iPhone or iPod Touch

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2009) - Simplify Media (www.simplifymedia.com), a developer of streaming media applications, today released Simplify Music 2.0 for use on iPhone, iPod touch and desktop computers.

Simplify Music 2.0 enables anyone with a digital music library on a home computer to access their music anytime, anywhere. Users can also stream songs from up to 30 friends, and they can view lyrics and artist bios on the iPhone and iPod touch.

"Synching music libraries between multiple computers and devices is a hassle, and maintaining multiple copies of the same music can eat up a lot of unnecessary storage," said Bill Bradford, chief executive officer of Simplify Media. "Our users can manage one library, but listen to music from home, work, or on the go."

Simplify Music 2.0 is an easy-to-install software application that enables users to remotely access their home computer's digital music library on an iPhone, iPod touch, or other personal computers. Because it streams music over the Internet, Simplify Music 2.0 saves storage space and removes the need to constantly synch with remote devices. It integrates with popular players like iTunes, and it automatically adjusts sound quality based on the Internet connection.

Simplify Music 2.0's new features for iPhone and iPod touch include:

-- Search: Users can now search for artist, album and title across all
connected computers as though it's one giant library
-- Favorites: Tag favorite music on the fly from personal libraries, or
    those of friends
-- Playlists: Create an on-the-fly playlist for later enjoyment right on
    your phone or touch
-- Seek: Use the "scrub bar" to easily move forward or back in a streamed
    podcast or audio book

The 2.0 desktop release adds support for:

-- WMP: In addition to iTunes and Winamp, users can now stream their
Windows Media Player libraries, and, on Vista, use WMP 11 to play remote
    music
-- UPnP: Connect to UPnP client devices on your local network, like Xbox
    360, Roku, and Sonos
-- FLAC: Play music files in the FLAC format across platforms and
players. MP3, AAC, WMA and Apple Lossless files are also supported
-- Select playlists: Limit sharing to specific playlists with this new
    control

Simplify Music 2.0 is easy to install and requires zero configuration of firewalls or routers. It works over WiFi, EDGE and 3G networks, integrates with iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp and Rhythmbox, and runs on the iPhone and iPod touch as well as Mac, Windows and Linux computers.

Simplify Music 2.0 is now available at the Apple App Store (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=304677902) and for a limited time, retails for $2.99. Simplify Music 2.0 for the desktop is a free application.
