PORTLAND, ME--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2016) - Bilingual call center, ListenTrust, answered all live-agent incoming donation calls during the live TeletonUSA charity event which took place December 2-4, 2016. This is the fourth consecutive year ListenTrust has managed calls for the San Antonio based nonprofit.
ListenTrust took in over 44,000 calls that helped TeletonUSA reach this year's fundraising goal of $15,705,865. The total amount raised was $15,761,984 surpassing the goal by $56,119. All proceeds will help provide rehabilitation and treatment for children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. The live event ran for 32 hours and was broadcast on Univision, one of the leading Spanish-language television networks in the United States.

Funds raised during the live event will continue to support the Children's Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA (CRIT) in San Antonio, Texas. They will also help the organization establish a foundation for building future rehabilitation centers throughout the United States.
