"With October declared as National Dwarfism Awareness Month, our focus during this time is on Community Outreach -- especially to those families who have never partaken in all that LPA membership has to offer," said Gina Zingaro, President, LPA - Los Angeles Chapter. "We are blessed to have Miceli's partner with us on this Fundraiser. Through their generosity, we'll be able utilize 100% of our proceeds towards our efforts to reach new members, increase community awareness, and celebrate the diversity that LPA embodies throughout the year."

Little People of America began in 1957 with actor Billy Barty and 20 short-statured friends. The first LPA meeting was monumental for a group of people who were severely mislabeled and misunderstood by society. Today, LPA is a thriving international organization providing much needed support, education, educational scholarships, and community outreach. The Los Angeles Chapter of LPA is proud to be the home Chapter of national founder Billy Barty. It hosts events year-round, including fundraisers, group outings, community activities and the Annual Billy Barty Charity Poker Tournament.
