Little Tikes Puts the Spotlight on Pint-Size Holiday Performers

Let Your Little One Be the Star of the Show With New Super Star Sing-Along™ Vanity

HUDSON, OH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 6, 2005 -- Wherever friends and family gather this holiday season, there's sure to be a child belting out a holiday song to an audience of adoring fans. This year, there's more than applause to reward tykes who can carry a tune, thanks to the Little Tikes' Super Star Sing-Along Search.

If your tiny tot shines brighter than the decorations on the tree and can get down with a jingle-jangle boogie, Little Tikes, the Hudson, Ohio-based manufacturer of imaginative and thoughtful children's toys and products, and Moms Network, the online resource center for moms, are ready to reward him or her with a toy chest full of holiday presents.

The Little Tikes Super Star Sing-Along Search is a nationwide call for children ages 30 months to 6 years old who can really sing those holiday favorites. Simply submit a brief video of your child performing his or her favorite seasonal jingle for a chance to win a holiday prize package from Little Tikes, including the new Super Star Sing-Along Vanity.

"At Little Tikes we believe imaginative playtime is essential for children and a great way for them to express their creativity," said Dave Reed, president of The Little Tikes Company. "Our toys and products are an invitation to unleash a child's curiosity and wonder and we're eager to see how children express themselves through their favorite holiday songs."

The Super Star Sing-Along Vanity is the perfect toy to let your little ones discover their musical potential through sing-along and role play fun. The star-shaped vanity mirror lights up to put kids in the perfect light, whether they're practicing a new act or performing a favorite hit. A wireless hairbrush microphone allows aspiring vocalists to sing along to one of six prerecorded songs or compose the next chart-topper. The vanity also features an applause button to provide positive reinforcement and star-shaped sunglasses for when the spotlight gets too bright.

The contest is open to boys and girls in two age groups: "Junior Crooner" for ages 30 months to three years, and "Senior Crooner" for ages four to six years. The grand prize, delivered in a Little Tikes toy chest, will feature the new Super Star Sing-Along Vanity as well as an assortment of other Little Tikes toys and products. A boy and girl grand prize winner will be awarded in both age groups, for a total of four winners. Entries will be judged on a series of criteria, including creativity and stage presence.

To showoff your showstopper, simply submit a video (VHS or DVD format, no longer than five minutes), along with your name, child's name and age, street address, email address (if available) and phone number to:
